Longines Spirit Zulu Time: this is a true, full functional GMT/UTC watch from Longines. You can independently set the hour-hand and the calibre will not stop ticking. Handling couldn’t be easier and it is of course the only way how one should wear such a tool-watch. Keep in mind how many wannabes there are on the market and what other manufactures charge for such a watch…

  1. As I said below, I'll buy this watch as it is beautiful, quality and good, reasonable price. However it is a big mistake to have pins instead of screws on the bracelet… But I'll buy one on leather strap, so all good😊

  2. This watch looks more expensive than it is!

I used a currency converter and I was too sleepy that I added another 0 to the price. I was like, "but GMT-Master is better than this". Then I heard "ONLY $3000" in another channel, that's when I realized this is only 1/10th of the current grey market price of the GMT-Master. [Rolex ADs are useless] $3000 for this! I'm buying soon!! I'm excited 😄

  3. A quick adjust clasp on the bracelet would have rounded off a stunning offering. Even so, the real GMT movement with extended PR, 42mm case (my sweetspot), quick release bracelet & strap & quick adjust clasp on leather all make this a compelling package. For me the date must be at 6 to maintain balance, the applied markers are big, bold & superb. My one criticism, and it’s a minor one which would not stop me buying, is that the case lower edges could have been slightly more refined.

Great work by Longines, excellent video WA. Now, green or blue? Strap or bracelet (or both)? Time to visit an AD to feel the quality.

  4. We really gonna start calling ETA movements "in-house" now, purely based on the fact that the movement is exclusive to one brand under the Swatch group as opposed to being available to all brands under Swatch? There's nothing wrong with the L844.4, but just don't false advertise.

  5. Why keep using the word "Novelty"? In English it means a small toy or piece of crap. Y.T muppets jump on the word as if it's great? I appreciate English is not your first language and cut you some slack.

  6. It’s a shame they used pins and not bolts on the bracelet.. otherwise it’s a really nice watch. Would it be fair to compare this to the Tudor Black Bay GMT (1000euros more…)?

  7. I understand the quick change bracelet mechanism if they also were to include a leather strap, but, it's only supplied with one or the other, therefore pointless. Buying an additional OEM strap tends to be a total rip-off.

  8. Ok, the quality of this gmt isn't that good. Notice how when you change the hour hand the gmt hand shakes? I have other true gmt watches and desktop gmt watches. They don't do that when I change the hour hand

  9. The announcer claims "24 clicks" but as he is saying that, the bezel in his own hands appears to offer stable intermediary positions, for a total of 48 clicks. The situation continues to be unclear.

  10. Thanks for the nice presentation! I would love a matt black version with gold details on the dial. I hope they release it one day.

  11. Finally, a Longines watch with a balanced dial! The Longines Hydro Conquest has a great movement but the unbalanced dial ( with the missing number 3 ) makes it an ugly watch! Now if we can just get Bulova to pay attention to the new Longines Spirit watch and stop making butt ugly watches, that would be great ( as the Bulova Precisionist movement is the about the best quartz movement on the planet )! And now the question that begs to be asked: Why put a date window on a Hydro Conquest "dive watch"?

  12. It's very good to see that Swatch Group has finally cottoned on to the enormous advantages that the Longines name still has, after a long period when it had moved from being one of the absolute prestige names in Swiss watches to being perceived more in the lower-tier luxury bracket at best. This 'Spirit' range in its entirety is a genuine attempt to recapture some of that lost ground at least, with COSC standard movements I believe across the line, and the high-quality finishing, combined with a genuine touch of class that was always associated with the Longines watches of a long time ago. This particular GMT watch, I think, is a really good proposition at the higher end of GMTs, and with its history in aviation watches – second to none at all – I would think it should do extremely well. Also, by the way, this new product development guy clearly knows what he's doing in his plans to resuscitate luxury proposition idea in the brand and I hope he succeeds. Good video as well.

  13. I loved thier hydroconquest, especially the green botique one, but I am not a diver collector, more of a GMT and worldtimer. This Zulu Time just killed it now. I love gold and green. That long seconds and GMT hand is another big hitter for me. Thier archive is actually amazing (if it wasn't becuase of swatch pushing omega), Longines is still globally top 5 in sales (losing thier 3 positiong to cartier this year). I see a come back in the 3rd position in 2023. #longinesslove #zulutime The price point being the same as a Montblanc Heritage GMT which have no date and come in a strap, this is amazingly priced as well.

Do noitce the GMT hand moving which the hours hands is adjusted.

  14. As a Rolex fan and owner I already have the new left-hand GMT on order, but in the meantime I have to get one of these. Ceramic bezel and a good looking bracelet. Much better then the Tudor GMT which is to thick, has an outdated aluminum bezel and damn I hate the bracelets with the fake rivets.

  15. I always loved Longines design, but I don't understand why they have the poorest resale value of all the major Swiss brand. Good looking and well made watches, but poor investment.

  16. I like they say they have hundreds years of Experince but yet they aren’t the leader in anything…

Your movement isn’t better then anyone else….

Grand seiko is 10x more innovative then any of the garbage out their ngl id rather have a g shock then a GS so yeah these European company’s are all garbage.

  17. I love all three options. At first, the green was the standout, but not sure about their color choice for the zulu hand. The blue is gorgeous with the orange zulu hand, but I have the z-blue Milgauss, so I'd pass on that one. I'm not usually a fan of black dials, but THIS one is sharp. Decisions, decisions…

  18. It’s a very striking watch. But I’d much rather go with the tudor GMT, because it has the Rolex DNA, and it holds its value.

  19. If there was blue version of this watch but with a 60 clicks "diver's" bezel instead of 24 click zulu one, I would not be able to resist getting this one. Seems amazing in so many ways.

  20. I like the blue sunburst, the black and green in that order. A black sunburst would be nice too. I have a Daytona and looking for a GMT. I like your Hydro Conquests Chrono's automatic as well.

  21. Nice watch as I love true GMT watches and this is great value. I do notice that when you were playing around with the hour hand, the GMT hand was shaking quite a bit. Is this normal?
