IT

The horror thriller “IT”, directed by Andrés Muschietti (“Mama”), is based on the hugely popular Stephen King novel of the same name, which has been terrifying readers for decades. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids is faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

  1. I love this movie but I don’t know every horror movie I watch I feel like the characters are just stupid. And this movie is mainly kids so it kind of makes sense but they literally investigated the sewers why just why. all right kids and that’s why you don’t play with paper boats when it rains because It will go in the sewer where you will meet a clown and you will die

  2. I thought the first scene had it right. People can relate to sending a paper boat down the road. Many kids wore yellow slickers, lived on tree lined streets. But there it ends for me. A story of about kids living in a small town in which a predator stalks is what it was about. I felt the theme was top scary to film so it went science fiction. I had hoped the kids would track down the monster and let the town know they found the place of the missing kids. The sets were very dark, lot of screaming and fake blood made it difficult to follow.
